SHARON SWARTWOUT

Member of LaBelle Chapter #40, Mukwonago. Initiated in Pewaukee Chapter #190 on March 8, 1971. Pewaukee Chapter consolidated with Ina J. Reid #41, Waukesha, which later consolidated with LaBelle #40, Mukwonago. Served Pewaukee Chapter as Worthy Matron seven times and Secretary six times. Also filled the Conductress station for many years.

I was appointed as a District Deputy five times.

PGM Reba Fischer and PGP Glenn Barter appointed me as Grand Adah in 1977-78 in the “Guiding Angel” session.

I was appointed as a Grand Representative to Florida in January 2002 and resigned in May 2002 to become Grand Secretary.

Before becoming Grand Secretary my previous experience was as a Legal Secretary, Secretarial Supervisor and Office Manager.

Married for 52 ½ years to Past Grand Patron Willis “Bill” Swartwout II; am now a widow. Our entire social life revolved around Eastern Star from the time of our Initiation. I have four children (1 girl and 3 boys) and 4 grandchildren (2 girls and 2 boys).
