As the Grand Officers entered the chapter room, members of Monona Chapter’s drill team advanced from the side entrances forming an arch of American Beauty roses through which the Grand Matron and Grand Patron were conducted to their stations in the East, at which time the roses were presented to the Grand Matron. Response to welcome: From all over this grand state of Wisconsin we have come to your beautiful University City, the City of Lakes, where we are meeting with you for the first time in Grand Chapter Session. Grand Matron: Dousman Chapter No. 257 was constituted November 11, 1925 by Gertrude M. Parkinson, Grand Matron. Medford Chapter No. 254, was constituted October 30, 1925, by Sister Ella Spring-Smith, Grand Lecturer. Attended the Grand Chapter of Minnesota. Grand Patron: He recommends “that in at least one of the lists of chapters contained in the appendix to the Grand Chapter report the chapters be arranged according to the cities in which they are located, arranged in alphabetical order. (They were currently arranged in numerical order). One is much more likely to know the name of the city in which a chapter is located than the number of the chapter. Tuesday, October 5th 6:30 p.m. at banquet was held at the Temple of Freemasonry attended by over one thousand members of the Order of the Eastern Star. Grand Lecturer: 108 official inspections.
