The Grand Chapter room was simply but effectively decorated in blue and white. The background in the East was a huge fan of white ostrich plumes flanked on either side by blue satin panels bordered in wide white satin ribbon and in front of each panel stood a tall basket of white chrysanthemums. Low plants of white chrysanthemums made an effective hedge across the entire dais while the steps were flanked with palms and tall white chrysanthemums. At the right of the Worthy Grand Matron’s station was a huge white bouquet, a gift from the home Chapter, Marinette No. 156. At the left of the Worthy Grand patron stood another basket, the gift of the Marinette Blue Lodge No. 182 F. & A. M.
