The Grand Chapter room was beautiful in its simplicity. Large baskets of flowers in the star colors together with huge candelabras with lighted white candles were placed just behind the stations of the Associate Grand Matron and Grand Patron, the Grand Conductress and Associate Grand Conductress. This theme was carried on to the dais in the East and augmented with palms and the colored floodlights against a soft red background. The Grand Officers were in gowns of rich cream lace, while the Pages wore semi-tailored crepe formals in the colors of the Star points.
This was the first time that an Eastern Star Flag has been presented at our Grand Chapter.
