Theme: All The Past Is But Prologue

Motto: “Hold Fast That Which is Good” -- with The Loyalty of Esther and The Faith of Martha

The colors used in the decorations of the auditorium were white, green and gold. Chains of gold colored links were attached to white posts which were alternately entwined with green ivy and white lilies outlining the Grand Chapter floor. Large white columns formed the entrances to the Grand Chapter room. Behind each Star Point station, white oval, gold scrolled frames created a pictorial quality to the containers of carnations in appropriate colors. A beautiful gold cloth covered the Altar. Potted plants of white lilies and ivy adorned the Grand East and a huge standard of white and gold mums graced the foot of the stairway. Potted palms added to the effectiveness of the decorations on the Chapter room floor and the Grand East.

In gold letters on the red velvet curtains, the inspirational theme “HERITAGE SESSION” and the motto “HOLD FAST THAT WHICH IS GOOD” was a gentle reminder to cherish the virtues of those who laid the foundation for the life we share in the land we love.
