Across the top of the draw curtains in the East, the words, in large golden letters, proclaimed to all the theme of this Grand Session. . . .”The Understanding Heart.”
Cording of red braided ribbon attached to marguerite trees, spaced at intervals, outlined the Chapter room floor. Behind each Star Point station enshrined in a setting of the “Open Door” a red satin heart was revealed. Beneath the heart, marguerites were artistically arranged on fabric in colors appropriate to each Star Point station. A large standard of white gladioli and chrysanthemums graced the foot of the stairway, with potted white mums placed in the foreground of the Grand East.
