Across the top of the draw curtains in the East, the words “With Undiminished Lustre. . .Honor the Past. . .Serve the Future” were spelled out in large English script letters covered with silver. This was the theme of the Diamond Jubilee Session of our Grand Chapter. The opening of this session had all the glory, the splendor and magic of a mid-summer night’s dream, with its resplendent blend of blues and silver. The curtains in the East were drawn, revealing a large revolving diamond, sparkling as in the noon-day sun. On the Chapter floor, the altar cloth of silver and white gleamed softly in the light. Huge diamonds marked the entrances to the Chapter room floor. A webbing across the West, with diamonds on all sides, surrounded by silver myrtle leaves, made a beautiful picture. In back of each Star Point station stood a glowing diamond displaying the emblematic flower appropriate to each Point. Enhanced by concealed lights these decorations made one think of fairyland. Breathless awe spread over the waiting audience, then a full appreciation of the brilliance of this 75th Session of our Grand Jurisdiction. SPECIAL PROJECTS: Installed Beauty Parlor and purchased therapy equipment and 2 television sets for Wisconsin Masonic Home.
