As the curtains opened in the Grand East, eight-foot paintings of the five heroines of our Order were seen framed in Gothic type arches. On either side of the arches were brick walls with majestic evergreens in back of the walls. The 1968-69 theme, “CONSTANT FAITH”, in glittering silver letters, was displayed over the curtains in the east. The stage was banked with yellow chrysanthemums and a beautiful floral basket from the Grand Lodge, F & A M. In front of the stairway was a seven-foot triangle. At the beginning of each session the emblem inside the triangle coincided with the Star Point being honored and the Tableau given.

The Grand Chapter floor was covered with the traditional white carpet. Outlining the floor was a beautiful brick wall with ivy growing upon it. At intervals along the wall were realistic newals. Spotlighting each Star Point station were pentagon-shaped spots suspended from the ceiling. Back of each station were beautiful colored Stars framed in a Pentagon. In the middle of each Star was the appropriate emblem for each station.
