Crown of Life

The East was an ethereal scene of an old European era with a Royal Castle in the background and a jeweled Crown on a white cloud. The 1970-71 theme “Crown of Life” in glittering letters was displayed over the curtains in the East.
The Grand Chapter floor was covered with the traditional white carpet. A field stone wall and rose topiary trees outlined the floor. A large shield with emblematic star, lettered, “Kingdom of the Stars” stood between the stairs to the Grand East, in front of the speakers’ podiums. The railings of the stairs were entwined with garlands of red and pink flowers. Behind each Star Point chair was an illuminated Shield with appropriate color, emblem, and flower, decorated with a garland of laurel leaves.
