Fun Emblem - The Lamb
“Wings of Joy” sparkled in green crystals above the gold curtain. The background of the Grand Chapter East displayed a huge painting of an outdoor landscape with mountains and trees. In the foreground were pine trees with doves ready for flight. The focal point was the beautiful waterfall with the running water and a bridge at the base of the waterfall. Situated among the pine trees on the left was a large white broken column with lilies of the valley at the base. A vase of Sonja roses was at the right together with a large sheep, this animal being moved about during the Session. On the last day, the sheep was adorned with a black coat and placed on the bridge. Fresh green plants graced the sides of the two stairways and the railings contained corsages which Sister Sonja had received from the Chapters during her term. A large bamboo birdcage was placed between the steps and the doves at times were very conversant. Our lovely white fence surrounded the Grand Chapter floor and the tops of the posts contained urns of green ferns. Birdbaths with a spray-like arrangement to represent water were behind the Star Point chairs. Gold skirting was used around the tables in the East and on the floor. The shadow box containing the Effulgent Sun graced the Grand West. The Grand Chapter floor and stairs were covered with green carpeting.
