Treasure the Past
Bible Verse: “In the beginning, God” Genesis 1:1
Emblem: An open treasure chest
Aim: to always remember the cherished memories found in our OES treasure chest.
Colors: All shades of pink as seen in the sky at the beginning of the day.
Flower: Morning Glory and all pink flowers
Rejoice in the Present
Bible Verse: “This is the day which the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.”
Psalm 118:24
Emblem: An Hour Glass
Aim: As the sands of time flow through the hourglass, may we rejoice and make each hour worthwhile. Time is God’s precious gift to us. What we do with it is our gift to God.
Colors: All shades of blue and the gold of the sun as seen in the sky at mid-day.
Flower: Blue-bells and all blue flowers.
Celebrate the Future
Bible Verse: “O, Sing unto the Lord a new song.” Psalm 98:1
Emblem: A Canary
Aim: As the birds sing to celebrate each new day, may we renew our efforts and rededicate ourselves so that we may celebrate a new day in our Order.
Colors: All shades of orchid with silver of the moon and stars as seen in the evening sky, and is God’s promise of a bright tomorrow.
Flower: Heather and lilacs and all orchid flowers, with the edelweiss to represent the stars.
